Creating tasks in work packages

Tasks are parts of work packages in Sitedrive that you can use as to-do lists within the work package.

Within a work package, you can define tasks, prerequisites, and quality assignments. While these elements are not mandatory, they can provide valuable clarifications and enhance the overall effectiveness of the work package.

Adding Tasks, Prerequisites, and Quality Assignments to a Work Package

1. Open the work package.

2. Select "Open Master".

3. Decide whether you want to add tasks, prerequisites, or quality assignments. To add a task, select "New Task."

4. For prerequisites and quality assignments, you only need to provide a title.

5. Enter the task name and any additional information you wish to include.

6. Save your changes.

Adding Images to Tasks

You can now add an image to a task (prerequisite, task, quality, additional task, or obstacle) using both the mobile app and the web version. The image will be displayed in the side panel of the work package on the web version. To add an image, simply click the camera icon on the right side of the task row and upload your image.

You can take a photo using your mobile device's camera or upload an image from your library.

Capturing images allows for better management of quality inspections: specify topics for quality tasks where you want images to be taken (for example, "Take a photo of the finished kitchen"). Images can also be attached to obstacles or additional tasks to improve the description of the issue.

Marking Tasks, Prerequisites, and Quality Assignments as Complete

1. To mark tasks, prerequisites, and quality assignments as complete, open the side panel of the work package by pressing Alt + Click.

2. Next, simply check the box next to each task to indicate its completion.

3. If you wish, you can also add images by clicking the camera icon located on the right side of the task row and uploading your desired image.
