How to transfer legacy Sitedrive project to Schedule 2.0?

Existing schedules automatically update to the new Sitedrive Schedule. Contact us when you're ready to start using Schedule 2.0 for your project. Once the project is unlocked, its settings should be adjusted to ensure the best user experience.

1. Notify Sitedrive customer service when tranfering a project

To unlock an existing construction site schedule for editing in the new Sitedrive, you need to inform Sitedrive customer service. You can reach out to us through the chat window in the application or via the form on this page.

Please note that once a project is opened for editing in the new Sitedrive, automatic data updates from the old Sitedrive will cease. The site and its schedules will still be accessible on the old Sitedrive, but any changes made there will not sync to the Sitedrive Schedule 2.0 project.

2. Editing Project Settings

Automatically transferred data from the old Sitedrive are the:

  • Schedule tasks and their hierarchy
  • Locations
  • Teams
  • Users
  • Custom fields
  • Work hours and exceptions
  • Timeline notes

The separate schedules from the old Sitedrive have been moved to the new Sitedrive as individual project phases. This allows for the integration of their differing location structures into the new Sitedrive's space model and area breakdowns.

You can view and edit the transferred schedule from the "Schedule View" section. If desired, you can use the new Sitedrive for your ongoing project in the same way as the old Sitedrive. For optimal results, we recommend consolidating production phase schedules under one project phase by updating the project phase space model and creating location breakdowns and schedule views that align with production schedules.
