A Site and a project phase

In Sitedrive a site can contain multiple project phases and the project phases can have different schedule views.

You can have multiple sites on your company's account. The sites usually contains one construction site and it can be divided into different phases or ensembles.

  • A site can contain different phases, for example design phase, construction preparation phase and production phase.
  • Project phases can also be divided into different buildings that are located on the same site. For example you can use different project phases for an apartment building and a parking garage.

Project phase

Each project phase corresponds to a real physical structural unit. In other words, the project phase is intended, for example, for the realization of one or more buildings.

In order to implement location-based schedule planning and management, the project phase needs a space model that corresponds to the real spaces of the building, such as an apartment, an office and a room. Based on this space model, location breakdowns are created, which in turn are used in planning schedules.

Project phases and schedule views

A project phase is one schedule where you can make different schedule views. The schedule views are used so that you can view the schedule in a way that best fits the situation. For example, you often want to do the frame phase with a floor-specific level while often the interior phase is planned with an apartment level division. The changes made in different schedule views are automatically updated to the other views. The schedule can be viewed and edited as a Gantt chart, Line of Balance,  or in a Takt mode.
