A Site and a schedule

In Sitedrive a site can contain multiple schedules and the schedules can have different schedule views.

You can have multiple sites on your company's account. The sites usually contains one construction site and it can be divided into different schedules.

  • A site can contain different phases, for example design phase, construction preparation phase and production phase.
  • Schedules can be organized based on specific buildings, such as an apartment complex or a parking garage, or by different project stages, including tendering or production. This flexibility enables customized management strategies that align with the unique requirements of each project.

A Schedule

Each schedule corresponds to a real physical structural unit. In other words, the project phase is intended, for example, for the realization of one or more buildings.

In order to implement location-based schedule planning and management, the project phase needs a space model that corresponds to the real spaces of the building, such as an apartment, an office and a room. Based on this space model, location breakdowns are created, which in turn are used in planning schedules.

A schedule and its schedule views

Within a schedule, you have the ability to create various schedule views tailored to specific needs. These views allow you to visualize the schedule in a manner that best suits the current requirements. Think of each view as a different lens through which you can observe the schedule. For instance, during the frame phase, you may prefer to focus on a floor-specific perspective, while the interior phase might be organized by apartment divisions. Any adjustments made in one schedule view are automatically reflected across all other views, ensuring consistency. You can analyze and modify the schedule in formats such as Gantt charts, Line of Balance, or Takt mode, providing flexibility in how you manage your project's timeline.
