Resource histogram

The resource histogram is a visual description of the distribution of workload over time that makes resource allocation easier.

Where do I find the resource histogram?

Click the eye icon in the Gantt, LoB, or Takt view, and select "Resource Histogram" from the dropdown menu.

A window will appear at the bottom, displaying selectable viewing options on the left side and a chart on the right. You can generate the chart by different teams.

You can choose to display all teams at once or select only the teams you want to view. Additionally, you can examine individual teams by hovering your mouse over a team in the menu, which will highlight that team’s data in color on the chart.

You can zoom or move the time line of the resource histogram by moving or zooming the schedule window.

What information can you gather from the resource histogram?

The chart illustrates the number of work packages over the specified time frame. When utilizing a quantity-based schedule, you can also monitor the total hours worked and the daily personnel requirements through the histogram.
