This article tells you how to copy and paste work packages in Takt.
You can copy and paste work packages in two different ways: either individually to specific areas or to multiple areas at once.
Method 1: Copying a Work Package Individually to Areas
Hover your mouse over the work package and click on it once so that a purple highlight appears around it. Then, press Ctrl + C to create a copy of the work package. A dashed outline will appear around the work package, indicating that it has been successfully copied.
Click on the area where you want to paste the copied work package, and then press Ctrl + V. The work package will be pasted into that area.
Method 2: Copying a Work Package to Multiple Areas at Once
Right-click on the desired work package. A menu will appear, allowing you to select "Copy." Next, right-click on the area where you want to paste the work package. A menu will open with three different options for pasting the work package.
2.1. Paste Diagonally to Lower Areas
By selecting "Paste Diagonally" the work package will be added to all visible areas in the schedule view, positioned diagonally, immediately following the completion of the next time slot.
2.2. Paste Vertically to Lower Areas
By choosing "Paste Vertically," the work package will be inserted vertically into all areas directly below the selected area.
