Editing in Takt

This article presents how to make and edit schedules in Takt

In Sitedrive, schedules consist of location-specific job sequences. A job sequence is a sequence of consecutive work packages, which may also be referred to as a takt train. Sitedrive offers two methods for copying job queues or parts of a job queue. In this guide, we will introduce both methods.

Method 1

Hover your mouse over the work package. Right-click on the work package once. While holding down the Ctrl key, select multiple work packages that you want to copy to another area. You can copy the selected work packages by pressing Ctrl+C, which will change the borders of the job queue's work packages to dashed lines.

Right-click on the area where you want to paste the copied job queue. Then, press Ctrl+V to paste the job queue into that location.

Method 2

Move your mouse to the first work package in the job queue. Click on the work package to highlight its borders. While holding down the Shift key, click on the last work package in the queue. This action will highlight all the work packages in between. Copy the selected work packages by pressing Ctrl+C.

Next, click on the area where you want to paste the job queue and press Ctrl+V. Alternatively, you can right-click on the desired area to choose from three different paste options.

2.1. Paste at this location

By selecting "Paste" the job queue will be added to the specified area.

2.2. Paste Diagonally to Lower Areas

By selecting "Paste Diagonally" the job queue will be added to all schedule view areas diagonally from the selected cell onwards.

2.3. Paste Vertically to Lower Areas

By selecting "Paste Vertically," the job queue will be added vertically to all areas below the selected location.
