Article presents Line of Balance key features in Sitedrive
In the Line of Balance mode, the schedule can be viewed through clear continuous lines. This helps to avoid any potential conflicts in the progress of work.
It is important to consider the selected location breakdown structure for the schedule view to properly plan the flow of work. Additionally, viewing can be facilitated by selecting the right filters.
Key features of the Line of Balance include editing the schedule by dragging the start and end points of the lines, as well as moving the explanatory text of the line.
In the Sitedrive, individual area work packages can be displayed by double-clicking on the selected line, and further editing of a specific work package can be done by clicking on it.
In Sitedrive, new work packages can also be created using the drawing feature by clicking on the pencil icon in the top bar or by ctrl + drag from the selected start point to the end point and writing the name of the work package. The work package is saved by pressing Enter.
Showing work packages on a higher level
You can adjust how work packages are displayed, choosing between a detailed view or summarizing them at a higher level. To switch to a sum work package, right-click on a work package and select "Show as sum work package" from the menu.
You can freely switch between sum and sub work package levels. Keep in mind that sum work package levels are defined by the Gantt hierarchy.
