Version 2.1.19 (September 23, 2024)

Work package appearance, coloring work packages, tooltip, sidebar functionality, and other fixes and improvements

New Features

Changed the appearance of work packages

  1. Area rows are now always of equal height.
  2. If a cell contains only one work package, it is displayed on the full height of the row. The size of other work packages is adjusted based on the maximum number of work packages in the row.
  3. Status icons have been removed in team color mode (except for blockers), and team icons have been removed in status color mode. Status is now viewed using status color mode or the highlight feature.
  4. Text layout has been changed - more text can fit into a work package.

If the increased height of individual work packages is disruptive, you can make the work packages evenly sized in area rows by activating 'Uniform work package heights' from the eye menu in the Takt view.

Setting a color for a work package is now possible

  1. A color can be set for any work package (summary/master) in the Gantt view.
  2. Summary work packages are automatically assigned a color.
  3. Manually set color overrides the team color. A manually set color can be removed, which will make the team color visible again.
  4. Team color is inherited by summary work packages if all underlying work packages belong to one team and/or have no teams.

Work package details are displayed when hovering over a work package

Tooltip shows the details of the work package.

The side panel updates by clicking on a work package

The sidepanel no longer needs to be closed to change context.

  3. Fixed errors in completion percentages of summary packages due to data issues.
  4. A summary work package cannot be deleted if a query related to a hierarchy change is pending.
  5. Fixed a bug in creating projects based on large schedule templates.
