Copying work packages from multiple areas in takt view, status comments in the Gantt view, and other improvements
New Features
In the takt view, it is now possible to copy and paste work packages from multiple areas.
You can select a group of any work packages and copy/paste it. The work packages will be pasted according to the top-left corner of the copied group.
As before, copying to the top line of the original selection creates clones of the work packages - identical, but new, work packages.
Status Comments
A new "Status comment" column can now be displayed in the Gantt view. Individual comments can be written in the column, and the most recent comment is displayed in the table. Clicking on the cell opens a writing box, which also displays a few previous comments.
Status comments are primarily area-specific, meaning they are tied to location breakdown areas. However, there are no area links for comments written at the summary and master levels, so those comments are visible in all views.
Status comments cannot be yet modified or deleted. If you want to empty the comment field, write a new comment such as "-" to mark that there is no comment.
Re-importing a bill of quantities updates the existing quantities
Re-importing a bill of quantity Excel updates the quantities of existing rows if the code and name in the imported Excel match the existing ones.
Performance Improvements
The Line-of-Balance / Flowline view now operates faster, and schedule data is generally loaded more quickly.Fixes
- In the Notifications view, task names are abbreviated.
- The quantity list page no longer "creeps" up when returning to the page.
- Added a character limit to the text in new user email invitations.
- In the Gantt view, it is no longer possible to make non-permitted unindentations and indentations (master work package cannot have another master work package as a child).
- Various other fixes.
